I have been a Chris Benoit fan
for many years. I loved Chris Benoit's passion for the sport, his passion
for the fans, and what a nice man he was.
I hate what he did, I hate it
to the depths of my soul, but I cannot hate Chris Benoit. He was a human,
like the rest of us, and he had evidently reached his breaking point.
I wish he had stopped to
think of the many things before doing what he did. His wife Nancy and son
Daniel did not deserve what they got, and neither did he.
His picture is still here
on my website and will remain here. I saw him at a live event once, he was a
funny, sweet, and as always an amazing performer. He meant a lot to me over
the years and that is the man that I choose to remember and hope that you
can choose to remember also.
What he did does not erase
all he had accomplished, not in the least. Anyone can be driven to a point
where they snap and I believe that is what happened to Chris. I do not
condone what he did - - not at all - - but up until that point he was good
man, I believe that in my heart. I will not abandon him now as so many
others have.
